Dr. Mike Borowicz is a General Practitioner with a robust academic and professional background and 18 years of clinical experience.
He is the founder of my-doctor.uk online clinic associated with Aviccena.
As a fully trained GP, he became a Partner at 63 Lincoln Road and later Boroughbury
Medical Practice from April 2013 to September 2015. He took part in the transformation and merger of two practices, overseeing the development of new premises and the implementation of electronic prescribing systems. He also led clinical and took part in Medical University student education programs.
He was educated at Cambridge University, where he earned a Master's degree in Neuroscience in 2003, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MB BChir) in 2005.
His postgraduate training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital Cambridge and Peterborough District Hospital laid a strong foundation for his medical career.
In general practice During his training, Dr. Borowicz gained diverse experience
across multiple specialties, including Accident & Emergency. Paediatrics, Medicine for the Elderly, and Respiratory Medicine. Neurological Critical Care, Ophthalmology, Upper GI Surgery, Urology, Vascular Surgery, and Cardiology, dermatology and gynaecology.
His broad training has equipped him with a wide-ranging skill set, enhancing his ability to provide comprehensive patient care.
In 2011, Dr. Borowicz achieved his Membership of the Royal College of General
Practitioners (MRCGP) and further enhanced his qualifications with a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG) in 2012. His career reflects a commitment to excellence in patient care, medical education, and practice management.
He has been revalidated by GMC as of March 2023, with the next revalidation due in April 2028.
He is fluent in Polish and English, facilitating outstanding communication with his patients.
